PRIVACY & YOUR EMAIL
A small list.
A clear purpose.
When you join the Crate Journal waitlist, we save your email, whether you’re a collector, shop, or label, when you signed up, and your agreement to receive launch updates.
If you join through a shop page, we save which shop introduced you. A shop’s QR link also records an aggregate count of opens, which can include previews and repeat scans. We do not share your email with the shop. If you arrive through another campaign link, we save its source and campaign tags to understand which introductions are useful. This page does not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics cookies.
What we’ll send
An invitation when Crate Journal opens and occasional updates about its launch. Joining does not create a collector account, publish your collection, or subscribe you to a store’s mailing list.
Where your details go
Your details are stored with our hosting provider and available to the person running Crate Journal. When we send updates, an email delivery provider processes the details needed to deliver them. We do not sell or publish the waitlist. New welcome messages are recorded in a private delivery queue, including the message and delivery status, so we can investigate failures without sending duplicates.
Your choice
A private unsubscribe link is shown after your first signup; save it if you’d like to leave the list before receiving an email. Every launch email will also include an unsubscribe link. You can request access to or deletion of your information at hello@cratejournal.com, even if you have not received an email. You can also reply to a launch email. Unsubscribed addresses are kept off future launch mailings.
Keeping the form reliable
We keep temporary, hashed request counts to limit automated signups. These expire within two hours and are cleared during subsequent signup activity. Our hosting provider may also process standard security and service logs.
